We want everyone to be able to find a CKC, read the menu and get in touch — whatever device or assistive technology they use.
01What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA colour-contrast guidelines.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have labels, clear error messages and do not rely on colour alone.
- Menus, accordions, filters and the photo viewer use the correct ARIA roles and states.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
02Known limitations
- The Google Maps are provided by Google and may not be fully accessible. The outlet address, directions link and phone number are always shown as text next to each map.
- Some photos may have short descriptions until CKC adds detailed captions.
